今次FEMA (聯邦急難管理局) 經過三年前既教訓, 應該所有procedures/steps/protocols都okay. 所有收容中心今次係唔會開放的. 市長今日一句:"Get out of town now, you are on your own this time, you stay you die!" 但重有約一萬名居民誓要保衛家園, 堅決不離家

!! 很多 hospitals 也沒有evaculate patients. 醫生和護士將會死守hospitals, 真係敬佩可加! 講真, 班 ICU patients 是很難 move away 的!

今日颱風Gustav以由No.4降到No.3. 昨日風速高達150mph, 今日則115mph, 成200 km per hour, 相等於十號風球嘅幾倍! 如沒有change course, 明日會直吹新紐奧以良市, 肯定大災難一場呀

and Louisiana carried out the largest evacuation in its history as almost 2m ppl fled Hurrricane Gustav

CNN is showing it LIVE continuous 24 hours around the clock. They have reporters situated in different locations in New Orleans reporting. It is down to a Category 3 Hurricane now, wind speed is down to 110 mph and the "eye" is 75 miles away from New Orleans going directly towards the oil refinaries first.
