I asked the same question yesterday. The following is the reply:

Thank you for supporting The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) and your interest in joining the CUHK Golden Jubilee Marathon Team.
The CUHK Golden Jubilee Marathon Team comprises full marathon, half marathon, 10km race and you are free to join any one of the races. Please be reminded that your family members and even friends are welcome to join with a quota of three in maximum. All members will be given a commemorative running tee and are entitled to join the workshops organised by the University.
To register as a member of the Golden Jubilee Marathon Team, you should firstly register to the Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon. The Organizer accepts registration in the following two stages:
Full Marathon, Half Marathon: 24 October 2012
10km: 31 October 2012
Registration to the CUHK Marathon Team through our marathon website is accepted upon your successful registration to the Organizer of the marathon.
For the details, please check out the website of CUHK 50th Anniversary : www.50.cuhk.edu.hk for information. We are more than happy if you can help convey the message to other members of the CUHK.
