2009 NHL Stanley Cup playoffs?

Just out of curiosity, any hockey fans here?  Does anyone in this forum (longrun.hk) follow the Stanley Cup playoffs?

It's very late to talk about Stanley Cup finals as the new season is starting in about a month, but I do like watching NHL and I am a big fan of the Canucks.  Still remember the year where Canucks got to the Cup finals, that was just a great year!

I also remember the year where the Blue Jays went to and won the World Series, that when I started to watch baseball and kinda like it.

In the 70s, I am an old geezer you know .  I am more of a Canucks fan than an Oilers fan these days.  I used to play fantasy hockey but not anymore.

Strange but true!  Wings drew first blood again!!  Why!!   

Statistics show that the team that wins the first game in Stanley Cup finals will get the cup!

Okay, I don't like the Red Wings, they won the cup last year already.  What the heck that Chris Chelios is still doing?  This guy is almost 50 years old, he should have gone fishing long time ago.

Well, I will go with the Hawks, last time they won the Lord Stanley Cup was in 1961.

I'd like the Hawks to win as well but somehow I doubt it.

Hehe - I like Chicago, as a city - used to spent a bit of time there. Spent time in Vancouver as well but Chicago is the kind of "tough" townthat I like.  I kinda support all Chicago sport teams ...
