as 2 days have not run, so this morning quite wanna to run, and get up earlier
very very slowly jogging, just 65min for 11.5K, hope will not affect Sunday Race. (target sub45min " />" /> )
Do you ...
First of all, how to taper for the race is a very individual thing. The best way to taper for any individual runner can be very different.
Having said that, assuming one's mileage is adequate. The recommendation is to run slowly for a little the day before the race. Several strides may also be good. Resting for a few days immediately before the race may make your legs stiff and you may not be at your best shape on race day.
If you would like take some time off, it is better to take a day off 2 or 3 days before the race. |
