Mike Ching
No problem!
I am lazy, if I dont want to run, I stay at home or do other things, this happens more often than I planned. Once every several months may be, so I take a week off or so, but somehow the fire comes back and I run with renewed energy!!
I think you are probably over-trained so that you may end up with such depressive feeling. Trying to stop a while the running program. Relax yourself for sometimes, say 2 weeks. Then, you will have a strong feeling that you want to run again if you really like running. It happened to me some times. Therefore, cross-training like swimming and biking can sometimes help to reduce such depressive feeling.
I think that you can try to reduce your training volume. May be caused by "over-training". hgjD115" />" />hj
Over-training may be an overused term. While it does happen, most of our injuries or our loss of interests are not due to over-training.
In Mike ching's case, it is likely that he doesn't have much time to do anything else after work and running. He is probably not able to spend too much time with his friends and families.
I think it is a matter of priorities in life. We all have limited time. And it is ok not to spend all of it on running. Mike ching should evaluate what his priorities are and do the best to make himself happy.

Once I have given up most of my social life for running and I didn't get almost any support from anyone in the last few years. In order to achieve my goal, I didn't care if I have not got enough social life and I didn't consider it as a problem of myself since I didn't think it would harm me so much.
However, I found that it is joyful for me to have certain amount of social life and the communication with others and I could be more healthy mentally by doing so.
